1/17/22 A trio of NS power led by NS 4288 on UP and the looted mess east of LATC, and more

Here are some trains and sights of interest we spotted from the day while out for errands.

Being close to the area where a lot of Union Pacific trains have been looted east of Los Angeles, we decided to check once again for ourselves and it is messier than ever. While there, we stumbled upon a UP ZAILC waiting for clearance with NS 4288 on the head end along with NS 9930 and NS 9736 plus UP 5693 & UP 8783. The train also had one of the 50th Anniversary HUB Containers too.

We also feature some clips and photos from southwest LA including UP East Yard and BNSF Hobart drive-bys on the I-710 as well as one Metro Green Line train and other extra captures irrelevant to the main east of LATC captures(and one extra LA scene).
