Lake And Bake 4 - Old School Vanning In The Midwest! ~Cruise, Show, Mini Bikes, RC vans, and More!~

In early August every year, Street Survivors Van Club puts on a sweet little van event weekend in central IN called "Lake and Bake". This event started in Michigan, but eventually got moved to Muncie IN to the Absolutely gorgeous Camp Red Wing.

While I do enjoy a big van show such as the Nationals or even the Midwest Vans event every year, I really have grown to love and appreciate the laid back nature of this event. Vans are Judged at their campsites, the schedule is more open, and the atmosphere is like you just stepped out of a time machine into an time and place where people enjoyed outdoor activities, hanging out with other Vanners, racing mini bikes, and playing with Custom built RC vans.

Ride along with me for the lakeside cruise, Van show in downtown Muncie, minibike races, RC vans, and more! Such a fun event every year!

My van won the "Best paint" award which is a huge hanging banner I am proud to display at home, and it also won the "Full Moon Fever" award for "The Van That Transforms Day To Night". I thought that was a really neat award that perfectly describes what I built this van to do.
