Countries of the World at their Greatest Extent

This video shows the countries of the World at the time they controlled the most territory for their history, including predecessors. This video also corrected some mistakes from previous videos.

The predecessors of countries can be open to interpretation. Some pre modern kingdoms or empires shown didn't necessarily have a flag as we think of it today either.
