The frame is absolute toast on the 2004 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon. The frame was so bad we could not put this on the lift without worrying about the whole frame just completely disintegrating. So, we are going to separate the body from the frame. I think this Rubicon has seen its last days and will be sold for parts. With that being the case, I do take a few shortcuts and cut a few hoses out of the way and may do things that you wouldn't have to if you are doing this job and replacing your rusty frame. This Jeep made it 189 thousand miles before the typical TJ frame rot set in. This featured the 4.0 with the 42rle automatic transmission with the 241 Rocktrac Transfer case and Factory Lockers with Dana 44 axles and 4.10 gearing.
