5 men have sat upon the UFC Featherweight Throne. Jose Aldo, The King,. Conor McGregor, The Notorious. Max Holloway, The Blessed. Alexander Volkanovski, The Great. Ilia Topuria, El Matador. Their reigns are sometimes brief sparks that inspire an Era other times they are resolute, lasting years as a dynasty atop the featherweights .

The Division has been graced with many of the greatest fighters the sport has ever known, but as these 5 mens legacies became entwined and their pursuits of greatness crossed paths, it told the story of one of the most distinguished divisions the sport will ever know.

So over the next 4 hours we will explore the intersection of these fighters' legacies, how their stories weaved in and out of one another to create a tapestry of violence, the knockouts, the controversies, the thrill and the agony, and how underdogs in life and in bloodshed climbed to the pinnacle of this division. To tell the story of the 145 pound division we must start with perhaps one of the biggest moments the sport has perhaps ever known, a time that many of you will know well.
