REACTING ON Dimash - Autumn Strong (秋意浓) with English subtitles for everything (ALWAYS EMOTINAL)

The song is about Yoshiko Yamaguchi (山口 淑子), a Chinese-born Japanese actress during World War II. She hid her Japanese heritage under the name Li XIanglan. She became famous in China. However, once the war was over and she revealed her identity, she was accused of being a spy and she was deported back to Japan and didn't go back to China for many years, as it was forbidden at that time. Ms Yamaguchi did return to China in her later years as the Japanese Parliamentary Vice Minister of Environment.

This song is saying goodbye to her Chinese name Li Xianglan. The song is a metaphore, as lyrics speak of how a person has to hide what feels inside.

Original Japanese version by Koji Tamaki (JAP: 玉置 浩二) under title 行かないで (JAP: Ikanaide), released 20th of Nov 1989. Later it was translated to Cantonese and sang by 张学友 (CN: Jacky Cheung ) recorded for an album "Your dream" (夢中的你) and realeased 23rd July 1990 as 李香蘭 (CN: Li Xianglan / sometimes used as "Lei Heung Lan"). Jacky changed the key from B minor to A minor. The song was used in Chinese television serie called "Li XIang Lan". Next the song was translated for Jacky Cheung to Mandarin Qui Yi Nong (Late Autumn). In 2004 the Taiwanese singer and Dimash's firned Terry Lin arapted the song into new version entitled "In deep autumn", lyrics by Daryl Yao.

Dimash sang it for the first time during The Singer 2017. He had only 1 week to learn it. He interpreted Taiwanese version sang by Terry Lin with Mandarin lyrics. This song earn Dimash the "Best Foreign Singer" award during Golden Melody Award in Hong Kong.
