We Wish the Whole World is Like Prasanthi Nilayam

Varsani Priya and Madhuri Gita are sisters from Moldova, an eastern European country and former Soviet Republic. While Varsani is an award-winning violinist, Madhuri is a very accomplished pianist. Today Varsani is one of the leading violinists of her generation who won the audience award of the prestigious 2021 ARD Competition. Recently she was part of a project led by Hans Zimmer, the celebrated German composer who has won two Oscars and four Grammys.

Though born into Christian tradition, both sisters are deeply drawn to Indian culture and are fond devotees of Lord Krishna. They had the opportunity to perform in Prasanthi Nilayam on Nov 21, 2024, as part of the 99th Birthday celebrations. This experience, in their words, was "not a concert but a celebration of love and service". "Our hearts are full; it was spiritually so elevating," they said, reflecting on their first-ever visit to Prasanthi Nilayam. This Satsang gives us a glimpse of what it was for them to be in the Divine Abode of Supreme Peace.
