The non shifting HPI Savage line of nitro monster trucks is here. Special shoutout to the owner of the X4.6. My own XL K5.9 hit a top speed of 44 MPH previously, but the gears were not shifting, after heavy repairs by the HPI owners manual it's time to see if the factory 3-speed will finally shift into anything. While I was running my own savage another savage owner showed up and surpringly his transmission did not shift either, it also did not wheelie. I tuned the high speed needle, low speed needle and adjusted the shift point multiple times and towards the end it was no longer locked in second gear. More on the new top speed and better runs coming soon, this video was only to test out my initial 3-speed clutch adjustments, it works!!
