Hi. This is my first model train build. I started with the Woodland Scenics N Scale Scenic Ridge Layout Kit and HEAVLY modified it. I used Kato track, but in hindsight would have used "regular" track and added the ballast myself. I might still go back and cover up the Kato track plastic ballast with something a bit more realistic. Almost everything on the model is from Woodland Scenics. I really liked the quality of their "Built-&-Ready" buildings, complete with lighting. Anyway, hope you enjoy the video. I will be posting another video at some point detailing each step of my build, along with my lessons learned.
