《秋》曲意解說

樂曲創作於2005年。作者運用柳琴多樣的音色與變化，描繪秋天時節在日本旅行時，見到各種美麗浪漫、顏色多變的楓紅景象。全曲分為三個樂段：

【一】楓紅：柳琴長輪的優美旋律結合了多樣的和弦演奏技法，帶出盡收眼底的楓葉由綠轉黃而變紅的細膩色彩，令人感動不已。

【二】楓葉翩翩：運用大量的下行環繞音型，與多變的過弦演奏技法，呈現出秋風吹起，落葉翩翩飛舞的浪漫景象。

【三】歸途：在回家的路途中，依依不捨的美麗景緻，依舊揮之不去，動人的色彩變化再度呈現，亦期待來年的楓紅時刻。

Program Notes

Autumn was composed in 2005. In this work, the composer explores the wide range of timbral possibilities and expressive techniques of the liuqin, using musical imagery to depict the vibrant and romantic scenery of autumn maple foliage encountered during a journey in Japan. The piece captures the subtle yet striking transformations of color and atmosphere characteristic of the autumn season. Structurally, the composition is divided into three sections:

I. Crimson Maples

Through an expansive, flowing tremolo melody combined with diverse chordal techniques on the liuqin, this section vividly portrays the gradual transformation of maple leaves—from green to yellow, and ultimately to deep red. The rich harmonic textures and lyrical lines evoke a panoramic view of the autumn landscape, conveying a profound sense of visual and emotional resonance.

II. Dancing Leaves

This section employs extensive descending circular patterns and varied cross-string techniques to illustrate leaves drifting and swirling in the autumn breeze. The continuous motion and dynamic articulation create a vivid and romantic image of falling leaves in motion.

III. Homeward Journey

As the journey comes to an end, the lingering beauty of the autumn scenery remains unforgettable. The evocative colors and expressive gestures reappear, reflecting a sense of nostalgia and emotional attachment, while simultaneously expressing anticipation for the return of the maple-viewing season in the coming year.
