Nagpur Police Commissioner Dr Ravinder Singal speaks to DCP Mahak Swami on scope of women in police

I THANK MY POLICE: Against the backdrop of International Women’s Day celebrations at LAD College, Nagpur, in association with Nation Next Foundation, Deputy Commissioner of Police, Zone 3, Nagpur, Mahak Swami IPS, in a special session of Dialogue @ Nation Next, interviewed Commissioner of Police, Nagpur, Dr Ravinder Singal IPS on the scope of women in policing and the trails and tribulations policewomen face in India.
In front of a predominantly women audience, comprising LAD College Principal Dr Pooja Pathak, senior faculties of the college and the students, DCP Swami also explored the familial side of the strict, upright and maverick police commissioner as she discussed how Dr Singal shoulders responsibilities of life with her wife Mrs Vinita Vaid Singal, who’s a senior IAS officer associated with Maharashtra Government.
