In this video I'm finally getting around to rebuilding the trailing arms on the buggy that were blown out the last Durhamtown trip. I briefly considered switching to a 3 link setup but given the space limitations I decided to simply rebuild the trailing arms in their original configuration but BETTER!
Not only do I strengthen the trailing arms with cross members, but I shorten the width of the control arms and ultimately the buggy width also. Its now a true 76" wide buggy in the rear, where previously I was over 78" wide, which is rather wide for the trails I use. Between the new suspension, heavy duty trailing arms and driveline I should be able to hit all Dtown jumps at full speed!
