Jasmine Stitch in the round - Full step-by-step tutorial! NO JASMINE EXPERIENCE NEEDED 🌸

In this video, I’ll show you EXACTLY how to crochet the gorgeous Jasmine Stitch in the round—perfect for beanies, headbands, and more! You’ll learn everything you need to know, including my best tips for smooth learning! 💪

✨ No previous Jasmine Stitch experience needed! Just grab your yarn and hook, and let’s get started!

The Jasmine Foundation round does not consist of a row of chain stitches, like normal, but of a row or petals, p.

We start by making 2 fewer petals than you need for the foundation round. Then, we make the row of petals into a circle by working 2 petals together (a petal stitch cluster with 2 petals, psc2).

Start round 1 with a psc2. Then, work petal stitch clusters with 3 petals (psc3) all the way around your work. The psc3 is the most used stitch in the jasmine world, kind of like the jasmine single crochet;) Finish the round with a petal stitch clusters with 4 petals (psc4).

Start round 2 with a psc2. Work psc3 all the way around your work. Finish the round a psc4.

In the video I also give tips on using a stitch marker to mark the start of the round, and on how to work over the yarn tail, so you do not need to weave it in later.
