District of Columbia renews push for US statehood

People in Washington, DC are about to see their latest push for statehood play out in the US House of Representatives.
Residents of the District of Columbia have been complaining about having no elected representatives who can vote in Congress.
Now with Democrats in control of the three branches of government, there is new hope that statehood is possible.
