Celebrities Remember Jay North, Dennis the Menace and Actress Elaine Ballace | The Jim Masters Show

Exclusive Special Episode of The Jim Masters Show series and heartfelt celebrity tribute as special guests from Hollywood join host Jim Masters and they share rare and beautiful, personal memories of two very special Hollywood legends. Actor Jay North who is best know as Dennis from the beloved series, Dennis The Menace and veteran film and television actress Elaine Ballace. Celebrity special guests include several Hollywood legends: actress and former child star Kathy Garver ( starred as Cissy on Family Affair) actor and former child star Jon Provost (starred as Timmy on Lassie), actress and former child star Jeanie Russell (starred as Margaret on Dennis the Menace), former child star, actor, producer Rodney Allen Rippy (Jack in the Box commercials, The Odd Couple), actor, producer, singer Geoffrey Mark and award-winning film producer, writer, director Jeff London. Jay North and Elaine Ballace passed away recently and we are fondly remembering them both on this episode of our series. Elaine Ballace was also a frequent and cherished special guest on The Jim Masters Show and was a big supporter of our series. Both legends and wonderful people will be sadly missed. career as a child actor began in the late 1950s, and he went on to appear in eight TV series, two variety shows and three feature films. At age 7, he became a household name for his role as the good-natured but mischievous Dennis Mitchell on the CBS situation comedy Dennis the Menace (1959–1963), based on the comic strip created by Hank Ketcham.

As a teen, North had roles in two Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer feature films: Zebra in the Kitchen and Maya. He also starred in the NBC television series adaptation of the latter film. As an adult, he turned to voice acting for animated television series, voicing the roles of Prince Turhan in the Arabian Knights segment of The Banana Splits Adventure Hour and a teenaged Bamm-Bamm Rubble on The Pebbles and Bamm-Bamm Show.

After leaving show business, North began working with fellow former child star Paul Petersen and the organization A Minor Consideration, using his experiences as a child performer to counsel other children working in the entertainment industry.

Elaine Ballace, actress, writer, producer, starred “Free Lunch Express” with actor Eric Roberts, Kevin Sorbo and Malcom McDowell which was released on Apple Tunes, Google Play and Amazon Prime.
She also starred in the comedy, “Love Without Hairs" and shares the screen for 97 minutes with Anthony Gaeta, (as her customer), hit Amazon Prime .

Elaine starred in the short film, Gaycism, a full-length feature film
and “Dared My Friend To Ruin My Life” was the highly rated series on YouTube.
Elaine was a regular in the web series “The Rich And The Ruthless,” which is executive-produced, created and starring “The Young & The Restless” and “Diagnosis Murder” star Victoria Rowell, for 3 seasons with season the fourth season already filmed and awaiting air dates.

She also starred in “The Miss Adventures Of Camp Elaine,” 4 episode TV mini-series in 2019, boasted former child stars Johnny Whitaker, (“Family Affair”) and Rodney Allen Rippy. This series spawned her “Camp Elaine” style book, “How To Write A Book, Camp Elaine Style,” subtitled, “Everybody Needs A Cheerleader.” It’s simply a fun romp with 10 short chapters and 37 blank pages for readers to write their thoughts and experiences on as they kick start the story they always wanted to write about their own lives but couldn’t find the push to start. Elaine was a long time friend of legendary comedy icon Mel Brooks.
