Tips for creating your own super soft Rag Rug.
Items needed
Crafting Mesh or a none slip rug backing will work too.
Old fabric scraps, Tshirts or anything old clothing you'd like to UpCycle
A pair of scissors
A measuring tape
Your fingers
Cut the material into strips, I used 6" ×1".
Different materials will tie differently so some strips may need to be trimmed after being tied.
I prefer to skip a square before tying but you can tie every square or have more empty spaces.
One knot works well but you can do two.
MAKE SURE TO CUT ALL STRIPS BEFORE YOU BEGIN TYING IF USING DIFFERENT COLOR FABRIC
It is an easy but time consuming project.
It's a really good project to do as a family!
