After the immense success of our preparation night last week, 306 squadron made a mark in its history when we hosted our first formal dining in night in 18 years!
Cadets, NCOs, staff, parents and guests from the likes of ex squadron members, Wing staff officers, civilian committee and even staff and officers from Runcorn Sea Cadets all came together at Holiday Inn Runcorn to celebrate all things 306 Squadron, including as planned a wonderful 3 course meal, a collection of toasts and speeches, and an amusing game planned by our very own Cpl Tantum! 🥂 Afterwards, the partying began. A disco was held as the night dropped and cadets and staff alike were given the opportunity to show off their dance moves and plenty of fun was had by all!
This event could not be possible without the help of each individual and team behind the scenes with setting up this night, as well as the guests attending and the staff at Holiday Inn for accommodating us for the evening.
And the cadets. Without the incredible effort that our many cadets have shown these past few months, being the backbone of the successful 306 Squadron we are today, none of this would be realistically possible, so a massive well done to the cadets, you all deserved it!
