#Ancient Greeks divided the earth into :
Frigid Zone,
Temperate Zone, and
Torrid Zone
According to the data used for classification, climate classification methods can be divided into two types :
genetic and empirical (including Köppen’s and Trewartha’s).
#The Köppen system distinguishes between five major terrestrial (earth’s) climatic types :
1. Tropical climate (A)
2. Dry Climate (B)
3. Meso-thermal or mid-latitude mild (C)
4. Micro-thermal or Mid-latitude Cold (D)
5. Polar climate (E)
