I've been going through my art supplies left at the corner of my parents' garage, and I discovered some oil pastels among them, covered by dust. TBH, I've never had a great experience with this type of art supply. I'm always tempted by the beautiful oil pastel paintings on instagram, but was never able to recreate the same beauty in my own work.😢
Then I decided to purchase an artist-grade oil pastel set to see if better quality makes any difference for me. And oh my, this set just surprised me in the most delightful way. The oil pastels spreads like butter on bread, and they are so satisfying to paint with.
The next day I took the set with me to the garden and filmed this review/paint-with-me vlog. And I love how the paintings turned out! If you ever wanted to try oil pastels and are hesitant, please please give it a try!
