For this exclusive interview, we drove more than 700 km from Ljubljana – almost 8 hours on the road – to meet Lukas Podolski in one of his kebab restaurants, which today he has nearly 50 across Europe. Poldi is a World Cup winner with Germany in 2014, earned 130 caps for the national team, and played for giants such as Köln, Bayern, Arsenal, Inter, and Galatasaray. The final stop of his football career is his hometown club, Górnik Zabrze. His entrepreneurial ventures are impressive: the kebab chain Mangal Döner, ice cream brand Ice Cream United, clothing brand Strassenkicker, football league Baller League, and the music festival Glücksgefühle. And Poldi has one more big goal – to become the president of Górnik Zabrze!
