STORYLINE:
Palestinians attended a mass at the Orthodox Church in Gaza City to mark Palm Sunday.

That happened as a new wave of Israeli strikes across Gaza hit the last major hospital providing critical healthcare in the territory's north.

Strikes also hit a municipal building, a home and a vehicle.

At least 21 people were killed on Sunday including children.

“The message I send, I hope the war stops soon, we are tired, we are bored, the situation has gotten out of hand, our situation is unbearable, the situation is tragic,” said Eyyad, a, 39-year-old man displaced from Tal al-Hawa.

Israel has vowed to expand its security presence in the small coastal strip.

The predawn strike on Al-Ahli Hospital in Gaza City was the latest of several attacks on the facility.

The emergency room is badly damaged.

Staffers said patients were evacuated after an Israeli warning and slept in the streets.

A child patient died during the chaos.
