Italian Carcano 1891/38 Per Cavalleria 🤌🏼

The Italian Carcano 1891/38 Cavalry carbine, ugly to some but beautiful to others. A World War Two carbine we haven't really seen imported in mass since the 1960's. Side by side, one is a 1960's import that was refurbished and the other is a recent import from ‪@royaltigerimports‬ directly from an Italian batch. These ones from Italy are better than the Ethiopian surplus, especially in regards to condition and functionality. These can be found all thorough out the surplus market, but ammo is tough to get and expensive. That makes these carbines a little less desirable but very affordable.

Italy was one of the Axis powers that fought against the U.S. and allies in WW2. Though the Carcanos are not noted for being anything spectacular, they have their place in history (and in my collection).
