Street Running Train In Indiana Horn Echoes! Auto Racks Train With DPU In Lawrenceburg Indiana

CSX Street Running Train In Lawrenceburg, Indiana! This Is A BIG Train With A DPU Locomotive In The Middle. Listen To The Train Echoes At Night. Includes Train In Glendale Ohio At Night Running Southbound On The Mostly Northbound Tracks. These are CSX trains filmed on the same night.
We were coming back from spending the day in Seymour, Indiana trying to get Louisville & Indiana trains and CSX trains. We only got a couple of CSX trains both running from Louisville through Seymour on the way to Queensgate Yard in Cincinnati, Ohio. The second train that passed Seymour went through at 7:03pm in good light. We knew we weren't going to get anything else in Seymour in the light so we chased that train to Lawrenceburg. We got there about a half hour before the train and filmed the other side of the train, the engineer side this time. The train arrived in Lawrenceburg at 9:31pm. Scott, 1960gambit drove and I had the scanner set for 160.230 and 452.9375. This is the same train that I featured in my video yesterday where I filmed the conductor side of the train on the tight curve. This was one heck of a long auto racks train son! It was full of new automobiles.
After we left Lawrenceburg we stopped at Glendale, Ohio since it was pretty much on the way home. We were there less than an hour when a CSX train came by at 11pm on the southbound tracks. This is directional running and most trains run northbound. The Norfolk Southern line that is just a couple miles to the east has most of the southbound trains. There are a lot of exceptions with local freights and the Indy line that ties in at Hamilton just below the Norfolk Southern interchange.
The Glendale train was a CSX auto racks train that had a bunch of boxcars that are used to haul auto parts. This train had a DPU on the rear. The spot where I filmed it was the most lit spot that I could find in Glendale. I was hoping that the automobile traffic would give some light to the side of the train. However, the first car in line stopped way back and since the crossing is on a slope the car lights did not help illuminate the train at all. Oh well. What do you think about night trains? I am thinking about filming some night trains at LaGrange and also doing a campout by the tracks. Should I film more night trains or not?
