If you want non touristy things to do in London how about a delightful walking tour of Primrose Hill, one of London's most splendid places to visit in London outside the centre. One of the most serene and beautiful neighbourhoods in London. Julian McDonnell, your favourite London Guide and tourism film maker, starts at Chalk Fram Station where Madness took the photo for the cover of Baggy Trousers. Chalk Fram is also the location of the Winchester Club in Minder.
From there he takes you over Chalk Farm Bridge and down Regent's Park Road and into the village of Primrose Hill which has many cafes.
Then over Primrose Hill itself, which features in H.G. Wells War of the Worlds and donw towards Cecil Sharpe House, the Regents Canal and ultimately ending at The Landsdowne Pub.
