The History of Spread of Blue, Gray and Green Eyes in the World in Percentages. 10000 BC - 2025 AD

When Homo sapiens began to colonize northern Eurasia, alleles for light eyes emerged in early Western Eurasians. As this group expanded throughout Western Eurasia, light eyes became common, albeit in very small percentages.
Among a small group of proto-Western European hunter-gatherers, natural selection led to a relatively high percentage of light eyes.
It was through such bottlenecks that the percentage of light eyes increased and decreased.
