"The Xenomorph XX121, or "Alien," is an extraterrestrial, hive-based endoparasitoid with a complex, multi-stage life cycle dependent on host organisms for reproduction. Its physical appearance is highly variable, influenced by the host species, life stage, caste, and age, contributing to its remarkable phenotypic diversity. The life cycle commences with an ovomorph (egg) that, upon detecting a potential host, releases a facehugger, a small, arachnid-like creature that attaches to the host's face and implants an endoparasitoid larva. This larva develops internally, consuming host tissues before violently emerging as a chestburster, which rapidly matures into an adult Xenomorph. Adult Xenomorphs typically exhibit a dark, invertebrate-like exoskeleton, a long, flexible tail, an elongated, domed head, and a toothed mouth concealing a secondary, extendable inner jaw. They secrete a corrosive, yellowish fluid, often referred to as "blood," which serves defensive and potentially nutritive functions. Their ability to develop within human hosts suggests a carbon-based biology and the capacity to incorporate host DNA into their own genetic makeup. Xenomorphs operate within hives constructed from a resinous substance mixed with their saliva. Queens, larger and more powerful than other Xenomorphs, can originate from specialized royal facehuggers or mature from Praetorians, which in turn develop from Drones or Warriors. The species may reproduce asexually through parthenogenesis or exhibit hermaphroditism. Most Xenomorphs possess an intelligence comparable to primates, enabling them to learn and adapt quickly. Queens demonstrate higher intelligence, capable of manipulating technology and exhibiting complex social behavior. A potential hive mind, directed by the Queen, facilitates communication and coordination within the hive, and they display observational learning. They also strategically utilize their acidic blood as a weapon. Anatomically, Xenomorphs are equipped with a durable exoskeleton, sharp claws, and a powerful tail, often tipped with a serrated, toxic barb. Their primary weapon is the inner jaw, or "attack tongue," capable of penetrating almost any material. Variations in morphology exist, reflecting the influence of the host and hive, including differences in size, posture, and digit patterns. The elongated head may house sensory organs, compensating for the apparent lack of visible eyes, and the dorsal spines, whose function remains debated, may serve various purposes from sensory input to heat dissipation. The inner jaw is powered by strong muscles within the head, enabling rapid extension and retraction."
