This Subaru Legacy Premium is loaded with impressive tech for under $27k but the driving experience is not something you'd become emotionally attached to. It will transport you from A to B safely with driving assistance like eye sight and "self driving" features (of course this is not autonomous driving, but it will hold your lane and maintain speed/distance behind traffic). The Lineartronic CVT is also unsavory as it seems to hold back what would otherwise be a fine, playful 2.5 liter boxer engine. My gripes with the car are nitpicky, I understand, but they add up to an overall experience that feels sedated.
