The Japanese Mini

In this episode, we take a look round a stunning Classic mini 35th anniversary that started life all the way over in Japan before being imported into the UK fairly recently.

Released in 1996 to celebrate the 35th anniversary of the Mini Cooper, a total of 1,701 ‘35th Anniversary Edition’ variants were built, though only around 200 are thought to have been sold in the UK. 
Each car was finished in Almond Green paintwork, with a Diamond White roof, and a Porcelain Green interior with Ivory piping, ‘Cooper’ logos embossed on the backrests, and a walnut-trimmed dashboard.
