South Shore West Lake (Monon) Corridor Drive By

May 31st, 2025, drive from Dyer Indiana to Hammond Indiana following the path of the new South Shore Line corridor being built in western Lake County (about a mile from the Illinois state line).
Construction is 95% complete but it was announced this week that opening will be delayed until at least the end of the year due to electrical rework needed.
The drive took about 53 minutes with traffic lights and stop signs (and driving in circles). The video has been edited to remove those parts. This video was recorded on a camera mounted on the roof of my car with the panning and zooming added in editing. Most of the audio was wind noise and has been silenced. There is a train near the end of the video where the audio has been left in. This is my first attempt with this camera.
