Anshuman's mother Lata is forced to lie to Vasundhara as her son has left the house early morning to be a part of Saurabh and Riya's reception although Vasundhara had ordered him to not leave the house. Anshuman meanwhile reaches Indore for the reception and mainly to speak to Bhoomi about his love for her. Meanwhile, Saurabh's mother who is still unhappy about this marriage sees Bhoomi speaking to someone and trying to convince him to leave her. Saurabh's mother immediately assumes that Bhoomi is a characterless girl and intends to reveal her so called reality, but before she finds out that this boy she is speaking to is Anshuman, her phone rings. Meanwhile, Surbhi still is confused about Varun and seems to be dangling between him and her dream man. Bhoomi on the other hand is bound by her commitment towards her parents and the relation they have fixed for her and hence chooses to ignore Anshuman. Will destiny somehow bring Anshuman and Bhoomi together? Find out here.Based in the contemporary times, the show Bhaghyalakshmi narrates the story of two families from Madhya Pradesh. The Prajapatis are a respectable upper class family with an established family business headed by Vasundhara Prajapati 'Bhabahi ma' who is also the decision maker in all the important aspects related to her family members. In contrast to it are The Shuklas who are a traditional upper middle class family with a business in gems and stones. Bhoomi, one of the daughters in the family of The Shuklas has been raised as a protected child and was imparted a good education. In a series of surprising events Bhoomi's marriage is fixed with Vasundhara's nephew Ayushmaan who were already in love. But when their traditional families find out about this, they feel cheated and Bhoomi and Ayushmaan lives turn topsy-turvy trying to win the families over.
