WWE Wrestlemania 31 Review: Seth Rollins Cashes In and Wins The Title

This is my WWE Wrestlemania 31 review joined by The Casual Viewer. Despite its horrendous build-up, did the WWE deliver excel out expectations and deliver a good show? Or did Wrestlemania 31 become the bad show we all expected it to be? I hope you all enjoy my Wrestlemania review.

WWE Intercontinental Championship Ladder Match:
Daniel Bryan vs. Bad News Barrett vs Dolph Ziggler vs. Stardust vs. Luke Harper vs. R-Truth vs. Dean Ambrose
Winner: Your Winner & NEW WWE Intercontinental Champion! Daniel Bryan!
Rating: Good! (B)

Backstage, we see Daniel Bryan celebrating his IC title victory with legends and hall of famers like Pat Patterson, Roddy Piper, Ricky Steamboat, Ric Flair showed up to offer up a “Woo” in celebration, Bret Hart, and even Ron Simmons showed up to offer up a “DAMN” to end it. They all congratulate him on an awesome victory. This was clearly done to ease the audience’s pain that Daniel Bryan was not in the main event … it worked. Good segment.

Rating: Good! (B)

Before the next match, Triple H had a terminator-themed entrance. It’s a bit odd looking back on it.

Paige & AJ Lee vs. Nikki & Brie Bella
Winner: Paige and AJ Lee
Rating: Decent. (C+)

WWE United States Championship
Rusev vs. John Cena
Winner: Your Winner & NEW US Champion! John Cena!
Rating: Decent. (C+)

The Rock and Ronda Rousey confront Triple H and Stephanie McMahon. Ronda Rousey slams Triple H.

Undertaker vs. Bray Wyatt
Winner: Undertaker
Rating: Average. (C)

WWE World Heavyweight Championship:
Brock Lesnar (w/Paul Heyman) vs. Roman Reigns

Winner: YOUR WINNER & NEW WWE WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION! SETH ROLLINS!
Rating: GREAT! (B+)

Overall show grade: Good Show! (B) An overall fun, productive, and effective show. It may have one or two dips in matches or segments, but overall it did not harm the enjoyment of the show. The majority of the matches were good, overall booking and storylines were kept fresh, and it did its job of keeping the viewers excited for upcoming shows, if not make you interested in tuning into next week.
