Biking Virginia's New River Trail State Park | A COLLAB!

Three friends riding 62 miles in 2 days on a legendary rail trail... it's the New River Trail State Park in southwest Virginia! I am joined by Bane (of Adventure Time with Bane) and Billy (from Billy's Bikes and Brews). Travel with us on day one of our adventure as we bike from Galax to Fries to Ivanhoe. We will meet some new friends along the way... and we'll ride our bikes through an old railroad tunnel, over several bridges and trestles, and past three dams. This trail affords up-close-and-personal views of the New River and Chestnut Creek. Before our day one journey is complete, we ride through some pouring rain and visit a local eatery. The day ends with two of us sleeping in our cars - too cold, wet and tired to set up tents in the dark. But what a great day on the New River Trail!
