The Accounting and Finance Department at CUBS UCC is looking forward to welcoming you to a webinar on June 12th at 11.00.
This will be moderated by Dr Michelle Carr and will focus on how the industry is responding to the COVID-19 pandemic; we will also discuss postgraduate opportunities in the sector. We will hear first-hand about the experiences of:
A UCC graduate who is embarking upon an accounting graduate programme with KPMG and their experience with remote working;
Barrie O’Connell, Partner in Charge at KPMG, Cork, Ireland, on challenges faced by industry during the pandemic;
Declan Maunsell, Assurance partner, PwC, Cork, Ireland, on the financial reporting and audit implications of the pandemic;
UCC Programme Directors on postgraduate opportunities available at UCC.
There will also be a Q&A session and information on the postgraduate application procedure at UCC. This promises to be a fascinating event for people at all levels of the Accounting industry, as well as recent graduates of UCC who are looking to understand more about the current environment. All are welcome to attend.
