Charles H. Mason was not just important to the founding of COGIC. He was a pivotal part of Pentecostalism. Pentecostal organization, style of preaching, as well as many of the denominations that grew out of Azusa Street had his influence in some way. We learn about his early life, ministry, and his rise from low beginnings to the Presiding Bishop of the largest Pentecostal denomination in the US.
