“It’s sad to see. If you get a fire in here, you can’t get in here to put it out. But if we get these trees taken out, we can prevent the burning of the communities in the area.”
Some of the most important work our foresters do is the removal of hazardous trees. These dead and dying trees make roads unsafe to travel, fuel larger wildfires, and put firefighters in danger.
By removing them, we help avoid mega wildfires and keep local communities safe!
