Dr. Naomi Wolf presents “The Public Intellectual,” a series of workshops designed to help students and faculty articulate their expertise when in public settings, at Stony Brook University. In this workshop, “The Pitch," Dr. Wolf discusses how to identify your core message for media outreach, and communicate it winningly in any context.
Dr. Wolf is the author of eight New York Times nonfiction bestsellers, including The Beauty Myth, called "one of the most important books of the 20th century." Her journalism has appeared in numerous major news outlets, including The Washington Post, The New Republic and The Wall Street Journal.
