The Big Bradford Cathedral Push Day 4, Part "Phew" - problem solved

Crisis averted—and a bit of cardboard surgery, all is well.

In this eighth episode of the Big Push (or: Day Four, Part Phew), I face the music and fix the big mistake from earlier. Thanks to a flood of encouragement in the comments—and a careful step-by-step rethink—I worked up the courage to dive in and sort it.

The result? You’d never know there was ever a problem. The fix blends in perfectly—like it was always meant to be there.

With the crisis behind me, I pressed on and added four tricky, fiddly little buttresses. They’re small, awkward, and very satisfying. And because Chris mentioned it… I now can’t stop wondering how long it’ll take someone to count how many times I say buttress in this episode.

A proper good afternoon of progress. Mistake? What mistake?
