I love using this Meet The Counselor lesson as my first class lesson of the school year. Students can be confused about the role of the school counselor so it is nice to have an interactive way to explain how your program works. Students will also get a better understanding of who sees the counselor and the tools that are available to them should they need them.

Advocating for our position as school counselors is so important, and what better way to do it than with a fun game to introduce yourself to the entire school!
