Unexpected Blessings!

As our flock grows we want you to understand many of them were unplanned. This little one being one of them.
Since getting Cypress, our previous rescue, we have always been open to the idea to taking in another rescue with a disability. It really didn't matter the disability but when this opportunity presented itself it just felt right.
It was a long trip to bring this little one home and I've been exhausted not only with regular feedings around the clock but I too have babies I'm raising, raising for someone else, our new flock members and more on the way.
I will continue to try to get video regularly and keep all in the loop but if there are gaps please understand why. Not to mention in another week and a half we will be hurricane proofing our aviary..
I chose to record this journey not only to share with you all but also for our vets to show the progress of its half biten off wings. Hopefully it's feathers cooperate (unlike Cypresses did) so no amputation is needed but only time will tell. Otherwise this baby is healthy.
