ARC2ARC Mission Accomplished!

Norma Sheahan and Rob Heffernan spearheaded our #ARC2ARC 50 Mile Mission setting Cork ARC supporters the challenge of raising €50,000 to help bridge the gap in our fundraising caused by Covid-19.

Along the way, we received incredible support from all of you at home and abroad, who walked, ran, swam, scooted and pedalled to benefit our work. We got great support from The Six O’Clock Show, Ronan O’Gara, Michael Flatley, Donncha O’Callaghan, Davy Russell & Martin Shanahan, 96FM, RedFM, The Echo, Southern Star, Cobh Edition and Cork agony aunt, Ask Audrey.

Here we are on 31st July, the final day to sign up and with pledged donations we are delighted to announce that we will reach our €50,000 fundraising target!

The success of ARC2ARC is all because of YOU! You got friends, family and colleagues involved and raised vital funds for Cork ARC’s cancer support services!

As you finish your ARC2ARC 50 Mile Missions, tag #ARC2ARC and we will share your success with our followers on our stories.

Today is the last day to sign up, but you can still register and complete your 50 miles (the distance from Cork ARC in Cork city to Cork ARC in Bantry) anywhere in the world, in your own time.

Cork ARC Cancer Support House's vital cancer support services have and will continue during these unprecedented times for anyone who needs them. Last year we supported over 1,400 people whose lives were affected by cancer and now we need your help more than ever to continue this lifeline of support for cancer patients and their families during this difficult time.
