Chengdu, China – The Perfect Green City and Modernization

You don’t need a planned route—just a casual stroll through the office district of Chengdu Tianfu CBD reveals a wonderful blend of modern infrastructure and natural aesthetics. This is exactly what an ideal urban office life should look like, especially when it comes to livability.

Look up, and you’ll see clusters of skyscrapers with glass curtain walls. Their sleek, streamlined designs exude a futuristic vibe against the cloudless blue sky. But shift your gaze downward, and pleasant surprises await: Plazas between office buildings are filled with jacarandas and bougainvilleas, their purple and pink blooms cascading from branches. When the wind blows, a "petal rain" gently falls. What truly enhances livability are the "relaxation spaces for work breaks." Between every two office buildings, there’s a small pocket park with simple, comfortable benches. Office workers can come here during lunch breaks to soak up the sun or enjoy a cup of coffee. Some office buildings even have rooftop gardens, planted with succulents and herbs. Standing there, you can overlook the entire CBD while breathing in air filled with the fresh scent of plants—perfect for recharging during a busy workday.

Even the basic facilities are designed with convenience in mind: Street benches are smart ones equipped with charging ports; trash cans are built into small "landscapes" surrounded by greenery; and clean mobile restrooms are available every 300 meters. Walking here, you can feel the efficiency and prosperity of the CBD, while also being soothed by green plants and flowers. This is probably the unique charm of Chengdu’s modern office life—where productivity and comfort coexist seamlessly.
