What Would Make the Carcano a Great Rifle 🤔

The Carcano M1891 and variants were Italy’s choice of primary arms from the 1890’s all the way until World War Two. The design proved itself during WW1, but it was an outdated platform by WW2. One of the things that would make it better would be an update to the magazine because the Mannlicher style enbloc clips and magazine does not feed too well, especially for the clips are bent or damaged. The bullets are just hard to find and expensive these days. The sights are meant for longer ranges but for close engagements, you have to aike them like buck horn sights aka use a six o’clock hold.
