Day 2: Tunneling Marathon 💪 | Old Cast Iron Sewer Line Replacement

Day 2 on this plumbing replacement project — and it was a full day of tunneling! ⛏️
As we dug deeper, we uncovered the old cast iron pipes, badly deteriorated in several spots. We removed the lines section by section as we progressed through the tunnels. By the end of the day, most of the excavation was complete — now it’s time to clean up and get ready for the plumber to start the full pipe replacement.

Tomorrow, we’ll begin digging from the garage to the city tie-in, wrapping up the last exterior section. This is where things really start to take shape.
