ATASCADOS EN UNA TORMENTA DE NIEVE | STUCK IN A SNOW STORM

Tenemos el Defender en el mecánico, así que Albert ha ido a dar una vuelta con la furgoneta para mirar posibles sitios para filmar en el próximo fin de semana y se ha encontrado con un temporal de nieve por toda la zona. Como ya nos ha pasado de todo con la furgoneta (puesto que no es 4x4) hicimos una instalación mecánica para adaptar un cabestrante portátil. Así que esta mañana de domingo Albert ha salido con su cabestrante, la furgoneta camperizada y las planchas (por si acaso). Había un terraplén aquí en la curva y justo entonces la furgoneta ha empezado a derrapar y ha parado evidentemente. Ha salido a mirar el ángulo para enganchar el cabestrante y ha podido salir sin problema. Buff... qué nervios...

We have the Defender at the mechanic, so Albert went for a drive in the van to scout possible filming locations for next weekend, and he ran into a snowstorm covering the whole area.

Since we’ve already had all sorts of issues with the van (because it's not 4x4), we installed a mechanical setup to adapt a portable winch. So this Sunday morning, Albert set out with his winch, the camper van, and traction boards (just in case).

There was an embankment here at the curve, and just then, the van started to skid and, of course, stopped. He got out to check the angle to attach the winch and managed to get out without any issues. Phew… what a nerve-wracking moment!

Nous avons le Defender chez le mécanicien, alors Albert est parti faire un tour avec le van pour repérer des lieux de tournage pour le week-end prochain, et il est tombé sur une tempête de neige dans toute la région.

Comme nous avons déjà eu toutes sortes de problèmes avec le van (puisqu'il n'est pas 4x4), nous avons installé un dispositif mécanique pour adapter un treuil portable. Donc, ce dimanche matin, Albert est parti avec son treuil, le van aménagé et des plaques de désensablage (au cas où).

Il y avait un talus ici dans le virage, et à ce moment-là, le van a commencé à déraper et s'est arrêté, évidemment. Il est sorti pour vérifier l'angle afin d'attacher le treuil et a réussi à sortir sans problème. Pfiou... quelle montée d'adrénaline !
