SOTA-QRP-DX: Switzerland works Australia

SOTA in the Swiss Alps is great! My YL Carine, HB9FZC and I (HB9NBG) are passionate mountain-hikers and licenced radioamateurs. We like to combine both hobbys on doing SOTA in a sportive way. Since we like big mountain-hikes, it’s important to us, that our SOTA-Equipment is lightweight, easy to handle on the summit and high performant anyway. As you know, DX-ing between Central-Europe and Australia works fine often in the early morting-hours middle-European Time ; so Carine and I took the opportunity top work VK3OZY and VK2GJC in SSB with 10W during one of our SOTA-activations in July 2025 … enjoy !
