Learn how to use FIJI (ImageJ) to extract circles or round objects (complete/incomplete or perfect/imperfect) from images using the Hough Circle Transform plugin. The transform searches for objects with a high degree of radial symmetry, with each degree of symmetry receiving a “vote” in the search space. The total number of circular objects as well as the centroid and radius of each round object in an image are measured.
