The Brentwood Imperial Youth Band once again lead the parade from Brentwood School to the War Memorial for the annual service of remembrance. On this cold and windy day the Band consisted of 95 musicians with the youngest just 10 years old. This was the first parade with the Band for four members and the first Remembrance Parade for 18 others. This year, 2017, sees the 100th anniversary of the Battle of the Passhendaele, the third Battle of Ypres. After the service the procession marched into the town for the Service of Remembrance at St Thomas’s Church.
