Holding great importance in the Vaishnavam Tradition of Hinduism, Rama Navami Celebrates the Birth of Shri Ram, the seventh incarnation of Lord Vishnu. Devotees all around the world celebrate this festival through pujas (a form of worship), and through the reading of great epics, just as the Ramayan. Time is considered to be divided into four different Yugas: Satya Yuga, Treta Yuga, Dwapara Yuga, and Kali Yuga, of which Ramayan has marked history in the era of Treta Yuga.
