Today, July 5, 2025, we joyfully celebrate the 65th anniversary of the Catholic Diocese of Nassau.
It was on this day in 1960 that the Vicariate of the Bahama Islands was elevated to the dignity of a diocese — a historic moment in the life of our Church.
As we mark this milestone in our Jubilee Year of Hope, may it renew within us a spirit of gratitude and strengthen our commitment as Pilgrims of Hope, called to build God’s Kingdom with unwavering faith, enduring hope, and selfless love.
