Jessica Sanchez's $1 million victory on Season 20 of 'America's Got Talent' still hasn't sunk in yet.
"I feel like when Terry [Crews] called my name, a flood of emotions hit me, and I was sobbing and crying," the 30-year-old singer from Houston tells Gold Derby shortly after her win. "But after that, everything's been moving so fast. I haven't had any down time to digest it. But I am feeling so blessed."
Sanchez represented a full-circle moment for NBC's reality TV show, as she originally competed on Season 1 when she was just 10 years old. She later appeared on 'American Idol' at age 16, where she placed as the runner-up to Phillip Phillips. This year, she returned to 'AGT' for the 20th anniversary season, where she announced she was pregnant in her audition and then received Sofia Vergara's Golden Buzzer. Months later, she was voted the winner by millions of fans.
